I am a provider for Humana insurance only.
You are responsible for obtaining your insurance plan's mental health information including copay and possible authorization.
Please obtain this information prior to our first appointment and email to me.
Please be aware that insurance companies do not pay for certain services like phone calls, consultations and missed appointments. These charges will be made to the client.
I am an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies.
What does this mean?
For other insurance companies, I provide paperwork for your insurance policy which usually has "out-of-network" benefits.
You will pay me in full for services provided at the time of service. I will provide you with a bill with all the necessary information that you can then submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement. Every insurance plan is different and many plans will reimburse you for sessions by 50 or 80 percent of my fee.
Using your health savings account is an alternative to using insurance and I can provide paperwork for tracking expenses.
